During the ‘80s, following the trends of that time, the interest was focused on cultivating additional varieties. Today an abundance of Greek and foreign grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyard of Attica.
The varieties growing today are:
a. White varieties: Roditis, Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Athiri, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Trebbiano or Ugni Blanc and Semillon.
b. Red varieties: Agiorgitiko, Mandilaria, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Sangiovese, Grenage Rouge and Tempranillo.
Depending on the microclimate of the location, all varieties are expressed differently.
